From screening school children for dental problems, immunizing against diseases such as Hepatitis B and the flu, and working to stop the spread of infectious diseases, to providing advice and support to new parents and sharing food safety information with workers and businesses.

This report summarizes an evaluation of the 2004 youth Don’t Start Quit and Win contest. The evaluation gathered information from various key informant groups, exploring perceptions of the contest. Evaluation findings suggest that the contest was successful and beneficial overall, and various areas for improvement were identified as necessary to improve feasibility, reach and impact of the contest.
