Good for Life is a community-based healthy lifestyle project in Simcoe County made up of partners who support and organize activities that help local residents eat well, stay active, become smoke free and check stress.

Simcoe Surveys
The health unit is currently engaged in the following surveys to measure the impact of our programs in the short term and to track changes in the health of Simcoe County residents over time.

Think Clear
To prevent injury and reduce harm from alcohol and other drug use in Simcoe County through shared initiatives & cohesive partnerships which promote healthier individuals, families, communities and First Nations.

RISK
The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit coordinates RISK, one of the 22 provincial FOCUS sites aiming to reduce problems, illness and injuries associated with alcohol and other drug use in Muskoka-Parry Sound.

Type 2 Diabetes
Encouraging families with school age children to become more physically active and develop a taste for healthy eating to reduce their risk of Type 2 diabetes.

Take Heart
Take Heart is the community-based coalition in Muskoka developing health promotion strategies to encourage healthy lifestyles.
