Good for Life - Workplace Pedometer Kits
Workplace Pedometer Lending Program
Did you know that workplaces are a great place to promote health?
The Barrie/Springwater Good for Life Committee is offering free pedometer kits to help promote physical activity in your workplace. The Workplace Pedometer Lending Program is a 12-week walking program and kits are available on loan for 14-weeks. Kits include a supply of step-counting pedometers, tracking booklets, and waist packs.
Workplace can implement a walking program or hold a staff walking challenge!
Simply…
- Sign out a FREE supply of pedometer kits (see sign-out information below).
- Distribute pedometers and tracking tools to employees at your workplace.
- Encourage individuals to take time before work, on their lunch break or in the evenings to walk their way to better health!
- Return the pedometers with the accompanying waist packs at the end of the loan period.
- Encourage individuals to keep their activity tracking booklets and celebrate their success!
The pedometer kits can be signed out from the Ontario Early Years Centre in Barrie located at Victoria Village, 72 Ross Street, (705) 792-7878
